Silicone Rubber Gaskets has excellent weathering properties and handles both hot and cold temperature extremes; resists ozone and oxygen attack.A long service life can be expected at 200°F to 400°F (93°C to 204°C).Silicone rubber gaskets has poor resistance to oils, fuels, and hydrocarbons.
Nitrile Rubber Gaskets, NBR,is an elastomer. Also known as Buna-N,this rubber is the most widely used elastomer for seals and gaskets. Its properties include excellent resistance to petroleum products as well as compression set, tear and abrasion resistance. It exhibits impressive resistance capabilities to oils, solvents, gasoline and petrol based fluids. It is effective for temperatures from -40°F to +250°F.NBR does not have good resistance to ozone, sunlight or weather, and is not effective for outside applications.
Rubber O Rings are designed to be seated in a groove and compressed during assembly between two or more parts, creating as a seal at the interface. O-rings are one of the most common seals used in machine design. They are easy to make, reliable and have simple mounting requirements.
Black natural rubber gaskets are cut from rubber sheets or mould pressing. Any sizes and shapes can be produced. The hardness of natural rubber gasket ranges from 40 to 60 durometer, Shore A. Die cut natural rubber gaskets are generally tan or black in color with the exception of our premium grade “red” gum natural rubber, which is used when an optimum combination of tear and abrasion resistance are required. Natural rubber gaskets are available with or without pressure sensitive adhesive backing.
